This place! So mysterious and adorable! When you first walk in you’re like, “Oh my where am I going?” Then you enter this super cute place and you see a different place here in San Francisco. You are transported to Captain Jake’s place or something. I don’t think I am doing it justice so you will have to try it yourself! Servers were so great and attentive and the drinks delicious! . I truly hope you #enjoy and keep following me on my journey to finding these gems and sharing them with you ❤️. All love!

Have wanted to visit this iconic tiki bar for a long time and we finally made it. They did not disappoint. Staff was awesome with knowledge and recommendations and the drinks were amazing. Went twice in three days to take it all in. If you can get there when they open, you may get lucky enough to sit at one of the two bars.

Great Tiki Bar in the city, one of my favorites. Massive cocktail menu, knowledgeable bartenders, amazing vibes, super fun ambiance. Not super easy to spot from the street, can also get busy. Every time I come to the bay, I try to make time to come here. Don’t sleep on Smugglers Cove. One of my favorite Tiki Mugs came from here, would be great if they had shirts or coasters, I try to collect them from the tiki bars that I visit all over.

Great tiki bar. Drinks are excellent, but be warned, they are strong. Awesome atmosphere but arrive early as seating is limited. Not telling you how to find it as Google maps will get you there but you still need to look for it which is part of the charm.

Attention ALL TIKI BAR ENTHUSIASTS !! This place lives up to its reputation. Very unassuming from the outside. In fact unless your Uber driver isn’t a local “in the know”… you’ll probably think that you’ve been pranked. A simple black door between a green and red bulkhead light and more than likely a line of eager, patrons patiently waiting to sip on their favorite tropical concoction. Meanwhile inside the friendly and talented bartender Tim is confidently crafting everything from Mai Tai’s to Three Dots and a Dash. The night I went recently Tim talked me into a fully loaded Painkiller.🍹🤤 Smugglers Cove is not a big place, it’s on the cozy side. So get there before the crowds and stake your spot at the bar. And it’s safe to say if you’re going to have a couple Painkillers plan on getting an Uber ride home or wherever the your next stop is.

Drinks only no food, however this is the place to go for specialty rum cocktails. Atmosphere is awesome and service is awesome. Arrive early if possible (at opening) to get a good seat.

I sipped on the Kona cocktail at Smuggler's Cove. This San Francisco tiki bar is the perfect spot to decompress with friends or a date. It was chill with cozy cushioned seating in the upstairs loft, solid drinks, and good energy. I didn't get a chance to swing downstairs to take a gander, so I'll have to check it out next time. The restroom is a bit of a tight squeeze, but it's clean and that's all you could ask for. 10/10 would recommend Smuggler's Cove!

Arrived just after opening time Saturday dec 14 2024. We were warned to be there early but still had to wait outside 30 min for a seat at the bar but was worth it. Best Rum Barrel I’ve had anywhere including my own. Atmosphere hundo P. service great. This and Three Dots favourite tiki bars so far
